Knowledge Building Priorities

LRRB Knowledge Building Priorities define long-term, complex transportation issues affecting local government agencies that could be addressed through research. Knowledge Building Priorities were first initiated in 2004, in partnership with the University of Minnesota’s Center for Transportation Studies and MnDOT’s Research Services Section. The priorities are updated every four to five years in order to address changing transportation issues facing cities and counties. The current Knowledge Building Priorities were developed with input from LRRB members, city and county transportation practitioners, MnDOT staff, and University of Minnesota researchers.
