What Can I Do With This Site?
The Asphalt Paving Guide is organized so as to provide information on asphalt paving in the most logical way, starting with the basics and concluding with construction. If you are just beginning your search for information, start with Asphalt Basics and move through the sections as they are listed from top to bottom on the navigation bar located on the left side. If you are looking for specific information, try the site map or search engine.

Site Appearance
This site is optimized for viewing using Internet Explorer 5.5 set at 800 x 600 dpi. However, all features are supported from Netscape Navigator 4.5 and up. If you cannot see the entire screen, try changing your screen resolution under Control Panel>Display (on a PC) or maximizing your browser window by clicking the window icon button in the upper right-hand corner of the browser.

Frames
This site uses frames. When you click a link that leads to an external site, the APG frame will still surround the external site's content, making it easier to return to the APG site. You may also use your browser's "Back" button to return to the previous page. When printing information, you may print just the body text (for example, just this tutorial page) and not the entire frame by selecting File>Print in Internet Explorer and then select "Print Active Frame". In Netscape Navigator, you may simply select File>Print. If you are unsure, select Print Preview first.

Adobe Acrobat

Some of the documents on this site require the Adobe Acrobat Reader. The Reader is a free application available online by clicking the button below.

Clicking the button will take you to an external page where you will be prompted to select your operating system before you continue with the download.

In Excel 2002, you may change your settings by choosing Tools>Options>Security>Macro Security. However, regardless of your computer's settings you may not be able to download files due to your network firewall or other security measures.
