LRRB Strategic Plan and Operating Procedures 2008

A Strategic Plan and Operating Procedures was complete in 2008, the manual provides operating information for the Minnesota Local Research Board (LRRB). It presents the LRRB strategic plan, includes information about procedures, highlights the organization's history and gives examples of LRRB projects.

The manual documents LRRB procedures, policies, and plans in one convenient place. For use primarily by LRRB members, it offers a one-stop resource detailing goals and strategies, membership, voting, project development, implementation, and other operational issues.

Knowledge Building Priorities – July 2009

LRRB Knowledge Building Priorities define long-term, complex transportation issues affecting local government agencies that could be addressed through research. Knowledge Building Priorities were first initiated in 2004, in partnership with the University of Minnesota’s Center for Transportation Studies and Mn/DOT’s Research Services Section. The priorities are updated every 4-5 years, to address changing transportation issues facing cities and counties. The current Knowledge Building Priorities were developed utilizing input from LRRB members, city and county transportation practitioners, Mn/DOT staff, and University of Minnesota researchers. These current priorities, developed in July 2009, can be found at: Click here to view.
